A Mother's Response

Clean the toilet, and mop the floor,
Wash the windows...wait, there's more!

Do the dishes, make your bed,
Dust the blinds, did you hear what I said?

Vacuum the carpet, comb your hair,
Wash the walls--who, me? Unfair?

Mow the lawn, work all day.
There's more to do, no time to play.

While you're at it, wash the Ford!
Where are you going? You said you were bored...
